Terms of service
The terms that apply when you book work with Marton Road MOT.
Last updated September 2026
Who you are dealing with
These terms are an agreement between you and Marton Road MOT, of Marton road Mot Center,, 416 Marton Rd,, Middlesbrough TS4 2PT,, United Kingdom. Booking through this site means you accept them.
You need to be 18 or over to create an account on this site. You do not need an account to make a booking.
Booking
Choosing a slot on this site is a request, and your booking is confirmed when we send you a confirmation. If the slot you picked has just gone, or we cannot take the work, we will tell you and offer an alternative rather than confirming something we cannot do.
Please give us an accurate vehicle registration. Slot lengths are based on the work you book, so the wrong vehicle can mean we do not have the time set aside to do the job.
Prices and payment
- Prices shown on this site are for the work described and include VAT where it applies.
- If we find that more work is needed, we will contact you and get your approval before doing it. You will never be charged for work you have not agreed to.
- Parts and labour are itemised on your invoice.
- Payment is due when you collect the vehicle, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
Changing or cancelling
You can change or cancel a booking from the link in your confirmation email, from your account, or by contacting us — at least 1 day beforehand, so the slot can go to someone else. After that the online option closes and you will need to call us.
If we have to change or cancel your booking — a technician is off sick, a part has not arrived — we will contact you as soon as we know and offer the earliest alternative we can.
Collecting your vehicle
Please collect your vehicle within our opening hours once we have told you the work is finished. If you cannot, let us know: space is limited, and a vehicle left with us long-term may be subject to a storage charge, which we will always tell you about first.
Your rights
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 our work must be carried out with reasonable care and skill, and any parts we supply must be of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If something is not right, tell us and we will put it right.
If you want to complain, contact us at our contact page. We would always rather hear from you than not.
Your information
How we handle your personal information is set out in our privacy policy.
